Every year the Maths Department organise a Christmas Quiz for students, form groups and Houses to test their skills at numeracy, logical problems and conundrums. Hundreds of students submitted entries and the results have now been announced.
Well done to members of Churchill House who came top in Year 7 and 9 with an average score of 19.3 and 17.1 respectively. In Year 8 Nightingale House came top with a score of 15. Organiser and Assistant Headteacher Ms Knights said "Well done to all students who took part in this year's competition; there were some excellent scores. Special congratulations to 9LAJ, 9DL and 9IC for coming in the top 3 for Year 9; to 8MHD, 8DC and 8SAL for Year 8 and to 7JLG, 7ACB and 7SMD for Year 7. Finally a big congratulations to Liberty Busby (Year 9), Carenza Price (Year 8), and Ethan Edward (Year 7) for winning the individual prize."
